Space Texture
Completed while studying at Jefferson University
These Knitted explorations were inspired by the 1995 Japan Space Array. Astrophycisit, Kyoto Miura invented an origami technique that sent a giant solar panel to space in a compact shape. These are a few of over 100 knitted material studies, exploring cosmic color, texture, and shape change. See moodboard here.
